This was the very first album I downloaded from Jamendo and is easily one of my favorites. I like how it tastefully blends the sounds of exotic instruments from all over the world into one satisfying track after the next.

'Bang the Crowd', is very close to perfection. The nature of the Sound is ethnic without being political and the tone Traditional yet breathtakingly clear. Authentic Folk Instruments abound. Pan Pipes, American Indian Flute, Didgerido, Mouth Harp, Drums(Bongo and/or Timbali type), Bells and stringed acoustic guitar(and similar). Use of the word Fiddle feels more appropriate than the more formal violin . Track #1. 'Rockin Wood', has the otherworldly feel of Aboriginal Australia. You can easily imagine ghostly dancers(Dream Time Ritual) highlighted by flames in the Out Back dancing in the night. Track #2. 'Spittin Gipsy', takes the Aboriginal theme and merges it with American Indian flute, drum rhythms and vocal hoots. Ultimately, Gypsy strings enters the mix and gives the track a 3 Continent Flavor. Track #3. " Flautabalidora', gives Flute the dominate voice in this track. Flute(possibly Recorder) starts with a clarion call Solo which is then accompanied by Pan Pipes, percussion, strings in a clever contemporary World Beat track. Track #4. 'bcn rhapsody', unites Folk with Jazy(saxophone), a beautiful female tonal cry and an intense beat. All of the previous Ethnic Elements Unite in the album's final track completing a Planetary Musical Circle.

The shak has a unique sound unto itself, as does the didgeridoo. To put them within a melody such as heard here is a nice touch. To be different and still work well with one another. A life lesson through music? "Spittin' Gypsy" is a nice touch of adding all instruments.... Well done! Thanks to orangeupurple? for recommending this
