Here's another one for the fans. Back in 1999 I was creating the Restlessness albume which contains some of my best songs. I make them available today on jamendo so that the fans can see what I was doing twelve years ago. A few words about the songs now. 1. Somewhere is one of my best songs, and one that I like very much. At that time it was used by a friend for a video clip of a space travel to some worlds placed thousand light-years away. Although it wasn't created for that purpose, I think the song fits very well. Sadly I couldn't find the video clip in my archives:( 2. Agony was made for a graphical demo of another friend of mine. There are two obvious distinct parts, corresponding with different sections of the demo. The first one is called Agony, the second is called Pyramidal dance, because the scene contained some human dancing with some pyramids above his head (if I remember correctly). 4. Restlessness is another important song of mine, which over the years I changed and improved and played in different ways. This isn't actually the original version of the song, the original one I think was made back in '96-'97. However this is a better version which also gave the name to the album. The last (and best) version of this song, can be found on the Ten years later album. 5. Fighting. Although not with a very impressive quality of sound, this one is very important for me, because it is featuring my very old guitar recorded with unbelivable difficulty through a microphone inserted between the strings. Although I had the option to record now a better quality guitar, I choose to keep the original sound and feeling. I hope you'll like it. 6. Some dreams come true is the original version of a song which later became one of my best piano+orkester songs. The very much improved and changed version is here but it is interesting to notice how the original was like. 8. Bonus track: Somewhere (2011 version). If you got this far it would be a shame to miss this one. It is a version of the first song from this albume, but with instruments and effects from this century. I tried to stay close with the original version but I improved the sound and the melody in some places, and tweaked the flute a lot giving it some cool inflexions. A must hear for the fans. Well, that's about all I was doing in 1999 so have fun with it and let me know what you think.
