Having listened to the first track . . I fell in love with its charm .. . that trumpet and unique, poetic, experimental jazz. Oh . . . I am amazed at how much diversity there is in music . .. whenever I feel jaded and beginning to be bored listening to music here on Jamendo . .. I run into something new . . . or actually I try someone different . . and then I am diverted by the raw newness . . . the ingenuity . . . the creativity . . . the amazing development of art in each individual musician . . . taking unique and artistic turns that I never would have thought of. .. .
Art is like a lake of water . . . it fills . .. it flows . . . it is and always will be . ..
it changes and morphs and becomes another form . . its needed and desired by nearly every living creature . . and its dangerous . ..
Music is as unique as humans are diverse . . . every time I think of that . .. I feel this strange frisson . . . almost a fear in regards to our great distance from each other .. . . One human from the other . . .how peerless and special each person is . .. and then to think that the same follows into the arts .. .. each individuals' inimitable production, art, creativity . .. nobody exactly the same (and I believe that everyone has an art) . . . there is so much room for difference . . . It deserves a poem but I don't really feel like making a poem tonight . . .
Instead . . . I will listen to 135 minutes of incredible experimental free style jazziness which will blow my mind . .. and maybe give me hallucinations . .. but it is strangely comforting and I need that today . . . Take "Niels" for instance .. a track that begins to sound like a cross between a horse and a bird . . . so weird actually but very appealing . .. I have never heard anything like this . .. what an exciting experience.
