I enjoyed the album, though I believe it would have been better if it was split into two short ones. Sometimes, the tracks might be a bit shorter or varied as there's not enough happening to sustain my interest for so long. Basically, most of the songs are in the vein of "one synth rhythm line, one drum line, go on for six minutes without much change" - what is so great in, say, Jarre, Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream of the 70s is that their music is ever changing: it may sound repetitive, but their sounds are always progressing, changing throughout their tracks, their melodies have variations. This is not to say this is a bad album, no - it has quite a few nice, catchy melodies (no real hits, however), a lot of really great retro sounds that I love, it's nicely put together and never falls into the cheesy amateurish category. I would just prefer more variation. Or 3-minute tracks instead of 6-minute ones. But it's an album I will listen to repeatedly. Not many albums from Jamendo are like that. Thank you, Equalypse. EDIT: After repeated listenings the album gets better and better. It's been on my playlist regularly and though I don't change my previously written opinion, I'd like to repeat that IT IS a very good album despite all my nitpicking.
