Great standard Blues sound. All the hallmarks of what you would expect to hear and feel from the Blues. Electric piano and percussion with a soft brush filling was the main mover here. The vocals were seldom and precise.
Blues at its best
There are many good prog artists on Jamendo including trustno1, Ear3, Cakeflap etc.
But Sébastien Gramond really captures the essence of good 70's prog. I've heard his album Reincarnations where he plays the organ, but on Space Chrono you get to hear his guitar skills of course great bass stuff.
Listenig to the first tracks and thinking to myself :"Zappa lives and jams around with Gentle Giant and Gong. J.L.Ponty meets Billy Cobham."
And the album goes on this way. Highly technical sophisticated compositions are played by a multiinstrumentalist whose handcraft quality stands for itself.
Will listen to more of this unusual stuff next days.
