DJ Colletta was first introduced to the digital music scene when he got his first computer, a Commodore 64. At the time the demo music scene was prevalent. A lot of his inspiration came from the early C64/Amiga demo scene.
In his early 20s he moved to Hawaii and played at various underground and dance clubs. He released a number of unofficial promotional albums and club mixes during his early DJ days.
After taking a break from the music scene he returned in 2007, leaving his stacks of wax and turning to digital DJ'ing and music production.
DJ Colletta bakes all of his beats fresh in his sound studio so you won't find any pre-produced "loops" in his music.
He works as a full-time print, radio and TV journalist and producer with his stories airing world-wide.
