Being a Scot born in the early '60's, the first two tracks on album took me back to my childhood. A better, more relaxed, slower, gentler world. Where "Camberwick Green" and "Trumpton" existed and "Tales of the Riverbank" was a natural history film! From there on a more modern approach took over but still with the same wonderful atmosphere. I love the improvised percussion. The building of melody upon inventive melody is wonderful and the whole production atmosphere is deliciously intimate. Loved the whole album, but "Ratty's Return" is going on my playlist!
