This was a nice enough Pop effort. The slow, strong percussion driving the force was unmistakable. This was so obviously Pop from the first few bars, as the guitars hammered out the genre, though I'm sure there was an underlying Folk stamp on some of the progressions. The main female vocals were strong, though held back and not delivering her all. The backing vocal harmonies were bright and perfectly placed. If ever there was pigeonholing, this would fit snuggly into the Pop box, with maybe a hand dipping into the Rock bag and a leg kicking the Folk bucket.
A good, upbeat sound with hope and happiness as their main gift.
