The Man In Washington is Chris Yeoh, a native of Bath, UK. Through thoughtful, sparsely-composed songs, he creates an atmosphere of longing; bridging the distance between his subject matter and his audience — all balanced with lyrical depth. Inspired by songwriters such as Paul Simon, Bruce Cockburn, and contemporary musicians Andy Hull and Dustin Kensrue, he honed his own craft in 2014 playing shows in The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, when he was living and working there as an archaeologist.
