Finn Anderson had written his first musical and self-released 2 solo EPs before leaving school at 16 to study Music. Raised in Fife on the East Coast of Scotland, Finn spent his early teens staging self-penned theatre productions at his local theatre; using the profits to build a home recording studio where he began producing solo music. After graduating from the University of Highlands and Islands age 19, Finn ventured South to complete a Masters in Musical Theatre Writing at Goldsmiths, University of London. Embracing his penchant for the theatrical and knack for poetic storytelling, Finn's songs are characterised by their lyrical intricacy and his distinctive baritone voice. Straddling various styles and genres, his music has drawn comparisons to Rufus Wainwright, John Grant and Antony and the Johnsons. Now 24 and based in Glasgow, Finn has created an impressive and diverse body of work. Alongside his solo songwriting, he has written two award-nominated musicals and composed music for a number of performance, film and art projects.
