So what's the deal on this PSICOTROPICODELIA thing? P.M. is an open-minded Brazil-based netlabel, coordinated by AlienAqtor & FLANICX, which will also aggregate online radio/ podcasts, digital art & video in the future. At this very first phase (which will follow until august), mp3 compilations will be published (eventually including exclusive videos and graphics), containing independant electronic productions - with due authorization of the musicmakers. There will be always an emphasis on brazilian scene (with at least some 2/3 of the tracks), but also counting on really special international artists. Thus, They'll work as a presentation of various styles and musical trends which will give "shape" to the Psicotropicodelia concept. From august/ september on, the second phase will take place, with Mp3 EPs and mini-albuns from individual artists... Beyond that, the compilations will go for a more conceptual side, heading closer to media and artforms other than pure music: video, cinema, digital & visual arts, performances, etc; stimulating collaborations between brazilian and foreign artists. Future plans include the release of compilation cds/ cdrs with selections from the mp3s, according to listeners and supporters on the project. We celebrate here the union of independant artists from transcontinental scenes - creating the electronic music from the 21st century - through complex sound & vision landscapes."> So what's the deal on this PSICOTROPICODELIA thing?
