This album always struck me as having a bit of Mortad Hell in it. It's highly produced, has a somewhat ethereal quality, and is pretty damn awesome. The first track is a definite hit for me and the rest of the album is good. To be honest I kind of prefer TMX's more out-there songs, the ones with big riffs and crazy singing, but this is album is certainly no wimp and I do enjoy it, especially tracks 14 and 15 which I tended to play on repeat quite a bit. All TMX albums are very complete, meaning songs which may not stand out at first sound right when listened to in the context of the rest of the album. P.S. It's nice to see the baby on the front, and baby noises here and there throughout TMX's work. I'm assuming the baby is his and that that he or she (baby's always seem a bit androgynous to me) will grow up to be an amazing musician just like his or her parents.
